Xilinx to Present FPGA and Embedded Processing at NIWeek 2011

Xilinx will take part in NIWeek 2011, which is hosted by National Instruments. Xilinx will demonstrate and discuss FPGA and embedded processing innovation in technical sessions, theater presentations and demonstrations. NIWeek 2011 will take place August 2-4 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. Xilinx’s participation include the opening keynote, awards ceremony, and demonstration of the company’s Zynq-7000 Extensible Processing Platform.

Graphical System Design Achievement Awards

The Xilinx-sponsored LabVIEW FPGA Innovation Award will be given to the industry and academic papers that detail the most innovative applications using LabVIEW system design software to program the FPGA in NI hardware including PXI-based R Series modules and NI CompactRIO, NI FlexRIO, or NI Single-board RIO devices. The winning papers will describe an application that takes advantage of the FPGA resources to build a unique solution and boost overall system performance.
