Alpha Data and Xilinx release collaborative FPGA acceleration networking processing board ADM-PCIE-7V3

Alpha Data’s ADM-PCIE-7V3 FPGA processing card uses a Xilinx-7 FPGA for a power-efficient, high-performance acceleration. The card is targeted to increasing data throughput optimizing computing cluster performance for data center applications.

ADM-PCIE-7V3 features:

  • 2 channels DDR3 capable of 1,600 MTps
  • Dual SFP+ ports
  • 10G Ethernet
  • SATA connections
  • Voltage/temperature/current control and monitoring
  • Half-length, low profile PCIe form factor
  • High-speed I/O

The card uses the Xilinx Virtex-7 XC7VX690T-2FFG1157C FPGA and includes a SDK with example designs. Paired with the Xilinx UltraFAST design methodology for Vivado Design Suite, the ADM-PCIE-7V3 FPGA processing card is designed to handle compute-intensive applications. Alpha Data emphasized a simplified programming model and flexible integration for this FPGA card, in addition to performance, reliability, and ease-of-use.
