HuMANDATA EDX-301 USB-FPGA Spartan-6 LX Board

HuMANDATA introduced the EDX-301 USB-FPGA board. The EDX-301 features the Xilinx Spartan-6LX FPGA (XC6SLX16-2CSG225C), 5.0 V external or USB Bus power supply operation, FTDI’s FT2232H (Dual channel USB controller IC), compact 53 x 54mm PCB, and 56 user I/Os. One channel of the USB controller is available for a user communication interface. The other channel is configured as an I/F for FPGA configuration and configuration device access.

A configuration device, on-board oscillators, user switches and LEDs are included with the EDX-301. The HuMANDATA board is compliant with the RoHS Directive, and is designed for lead-free soldering. HuMANDATA’s ACM/XCM series boards are designed on same PCB size and connector layout. This makes it easy to swap the board for another one so engineers can quickly try a new FPGA/CPLD.
