Avnet Electronics Marketing announced the MicroZed evaluation kit. MicroZed is based on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC. The standard MicroZed evaluation kit includes a MicroZed board, a micro USB cable, a 4 GB µSD card, a Xilinx Vivado Design Suite: WebPACK Edition license with Logic Analyzer, and a getting started card. MicroZed is available now for $199.

Avnet Electronics Marketing rolled out the production-grade ZedBoard. According to the company, it is the industry’s first development kit to offer production silicon of the Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable (AP) SoC. The ZedBoard kit includes the ZedBoard, power supply, USB cable, and pre-configured SD card containing a bootable Linux reference design. The ZedBoard is available now for $395.

Tokyo Electron Device (TED) TB-7Z-020-EMC extension microcontroller card

Tokyo Electron Device (TED) launched the TB-7Z-020-EMC extension microcontroller card. It features a Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC. The TED TB-7Z-020-EMC features both an ARM Cortex-A9 MPcore with on-chip connection to a FPGA fabric and a Zynq-7000. It can be used to implement evaluation systems into various different development projects. The card will ship in early January.
