The embedded system reduces time-to-market.
Maxim Integrated Products introduced a reference design that will protect Xilinx Spartan-6 field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). The reference design features security software (from Maxim or Xilinx) and the Maxim DS28E01-100 1-Wire secure memory device. Engineers can easily add a level of design security to products with the Maxim DS28E01-100 1-Wire secure memory device. In the future, the reference design will support Artix-7, Kintex-7, Virtex-7 and the Zynq-7000 FPGA devices.
Enterpoint recently announced the Merrick6 High Performance Computing (HPC) platform. The Merrick6 is based on six processor cells combined with a controller FPGA, high speed PCIe interface, Gigabit Ethernet interface and multi-Gigabit Expansion interface. The Merrick6 card can be ordered now. The board is ideal for a range of applications, including small to medium database searching, mathematic algorithms, data filtering and pre-processing of seismic data.

Mylium recently completed work on their new HD Graphics Controller IP for embedded systems. The FPGA-based HD graphics controller features typical resource usage of 1315 slice registers (Xilinx Spartan 6). The core has a resolution up to 1920×1080. It has a simple interface and a low number of pins. The Mylium IP core works with both external 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers and soft-processors.
