Altera is hosting a series of FPGA related seminars in September. The training will take place in cities across the US and Canada. The classes are:

Avnet Announces Microsemi SmartFusion2 SoC FPGA SpeedWay Design Workshops

Avnet Memec announced a new series of Microsemi SpeedWay Design Workshops. The focus of the events is the new Microsemi SmartFusion2 SoC FPGAs. The workshops will be held in 26 cities throughout North America. The first workshops will take place on February 19th in San Jose and Philadelphia. The cost of the one-day workshops is $99 per person. Each attendee will receive a SmartFusion2 Starter Kit ($299 value).

Lattice Semiconductor Announces @MachXO2 Speed Seminars

Lattice Semiconductor is offering a series of free @MachXO2 Speed seminars. The Lattice events include hands-on technical training and live hardware demonstrations that focus on the MachXO2 PLD features that speed the design process and reduce time-to-market. The seminar’s hands-on hardware demonstrations utilize the versatile, battery-powered MachXO2 Pico Development Kit, which is discounted to $29 for the remainder of 2012.

Nano-ITX/Spartan-6 FPGA Development Kit SpeedWay Design Workshops

Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas will conduct a series of SpeedWay Design Workshops focusing on the design and development flows for the Nano-ITX/Spartan-6 FPGA Development Kit. The workshops will show engineers how to implement different interface options with the Xilinx Spartan-6 PCI Express (PCIe) card. Designers will learn about the benefits of using an FPGA-based solution for peripheral expansion. X-fest Seminar Series

The X-fest series of technical seminars are now taking place in North America. X-fest offers practical, how-to training for FPGA, DSP, and embedded systems designers. The events run worldwide through February 2010 in locations throughout Asia, Europe, Japan, and North America. The one-day seminars offer several 75-minute training courses for attendees to choose from. The classes are designed to provide specialized training on design solutions for FPGA circuitry and the components surrounding FPGAs.
