EnSilica introduced the eSi-ZM1 System-on-Module. The small form factor board is built around the Xilinx Zynq Extensible Programming Platform. EnSilica’s eSi-Module product roadmap also includes a System-on-Module based on the Altera Cyclone IV SoC.

Lattice Semiconductor and Leopard Imaging introduced a dual camera module kit. The dual HD IP camera solution enables the TI DaVinci TMS320DM368 video processor to interface to two 720p image sensors. This kit is ideal for engineers designing black box car drive recorders or other applications that require two cameras. For black box car drive recorder applications, one camera can be pointed out the front of the vehicle, while the other can be directed toward the driver. The dual camera module kit is available now for $399 from Leopard Imaging.

The XMC-6VLX features a configurable Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA enhanced with multiple high-speed memory buffers, I/O, and numerous high-bandwidth serial interfaces. The FPGA serves as a co-processor applying custom logic and algorithms to streams of remote sensor data. S2C introduced the Dual 7V2000T TAI Logic Module. The Dual V7 TAI Logic Module features two Xilinx 28nm Virtex-7 FPGA devices, up to 40 million ASIC gates of capacity and 1,200 external I/O on a single board. V7 TAI Logic Module is now shipping with XC7VLX2000T-ES FPGAs. The V7 TAI Logic Module can be mounted with either one or two FPGA devices per module. All V7 TAI Logic Modules adopt a similar form factor to support previous generation TAI Logic Module.

HuMANDATA introduced their AP68-04 FPGA Module. The stamp size PLCC FPGA module features an Altera Cyclone III FPGA, two Vccio groups, an on-board 50MHz oscillator, two user LEDs, one user switch, a Power-on Reset IC, and a configuration device. The AP68-04 can be equipped on universal boards by using a 68-pin DIP IC socket. The HuMANDATA board operates with only 3.3V power supply and has an on-board 1.2V and 2.5V regulators. In addition, it is compliant with the RoHS Directive, and is designed for lead-free soldering.
