Posted by Ken Cheung in Event on Monday, December 1, 2008

Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL) will hold its annual Actel Space Forum on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in Los Angeles. The forum will provide knowledge and understanding of how to optimize space applications using Actel’s highly reliable field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Actel is a leader in radiation-tolerant FPGAs. Actel’s RTAX FPGAs are ideal for designers of space-flight systems to get their designs off the ground. Additional Actel Space Forums will be held in Europe and Asia in early 2009. Dates and locations will be announced at a later time.

The forum will consist of in-depth technical presentations from members of Actel’s engineering and executive management team, discussing contemporary topics relevant to using Actel’s FPGAs in space-flight applications. During this interactive one-day event, you will gain knowledge and understanding on how to optimize your space applications using Actel FPGAs for high reliability, high performance, and low power.

Actel Space Forum Topics

  • FPGA, development tool, and IP roadmaps for space
  • Design techniques to optimize power consumption, improve timing performance, and make best use of available device resources
