Actel Meets SAE/AS9100 and ISO 9001 Standards

Posted by Ken Cheung in Other on Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Actel has established ongoing compliance with both the SAE/AS9100 Aerospace Certification and the ISO 9001:2000 quality standards. The AS9100 standard was developed by Working Group 11 of ISO TC20 and was supported by the International Aerospace Quality Group in order to satisfy internal, government, and regulatory requirements.

The aerospace industry is rapidly adopting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products for cost savings while still requiring extreme high-reliability standards. The AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards reduce costs and improve reliability by consolidating the quality requirements and quality systems employed by aerospace and avionics suppliers.

Actel offers low-power flash- and antifuse-based FPGAs for use in military and aerospace applications.
