QuickLogic SDIO Client Block
QuickLogic® Corporation (NASDAQ:QUIK) offers a proven system block for an SDIO client. This block, part of QuickLogic's functional library for its Customer Specific Standard Product (CSSP) platforms, enables a range of unique accessories for mobile devices utilizing the popular SD memory card and SDIO peripheral interface. The most commonly used interfaces in mobile devices are high speed SD/SDIO and USB. The new SDIO client proven system block allows QuickLogic to greatly expand its served available market from host side applications to the accessory market on the client side.
The SDIO client block is part of QuickLogic's proven system block library for its CSSP solutions platforms. QuickLogic's CSSP approach blends fixed logic blocks with an array of low-power customizable building blocks (CBBs) for implementing additional standards-based or custom functions. This approach offers development teams a customizable platform that addresses the need to meet cost, battery life and PCB-space requirements, while also maintaining the flexibility to evolve designs as market demands change in the future.
The SDIO client solution is available immediately as part of QuickLogic's CSSP proven system block library.
