Posted by Ken Cheung in FPGA-based Product on Tuesday, June 26, 2007

Nallatech developed a new Xilinx Virtex(TM)-5 based rugged embedded computing family. The embedded products are based on industry standard form factors, including VPX (VITA 46), VXS (VITA 41), and XMC. The new product family will feature solutions for use in a wide range of operating environments. The combination of processing and I/O capabilities offered in this product family delivers a complete system solution for defense, aerospace and security applications, including signal intelligence (SIGINT), radar and software defined radio (SDR).

This rugged deployable product family leverages the latest processing and I/O technologies and delivers new capabilities to users. Xilinx Virtex-5 LXT and SXT FPGAs, with features including ExpressFabric technology, high-bandwidth on-chip memory and embedded DSP blocks, provide significant performance benefits, combined with low power consumption offered by 65nm triple-oxide technology.
