Lauterbach TRACE32 Tool Supports Xilinx Zynq-7000

Lauterbach’s TRACE32 development tool now supports the Xilinx Zynq-7000 Extensible Processing Platform, which includes a complete ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore processor-based system with 28nm low-power programmable logic.

  • Already supports the ARM Cortex-A9 core
  • Zynq-7000 family of devices are now included in the list of validated target devices
  • TRACE32 now supports all processor cores, including the PowerPC and MicroBlaze processors that are used with Xilinx programmable logic
  • In multi-core designs, any combination of cores can be debugged concurrently using a single debug interface
  • Support of Zynq-7000 preserve engineers’ design/debug environment while, at the same time, explore the capabilities of the Extensible Processing Platform,
  • TRACE32 supports all hardware debug features of the Cortex-A9 MPCore processing system and flash programming
  • An off-chip and on-chip real-time program trace with trace filters and triggers is available
  • If off-chip trace is used, it does not use any FPGA resources but stores the trace data in up to 4GB of external high-speed memory
