Lattice Semiconductor had upgraded their HDR-60 Video Camera Development Kit. The Lattice HDR-60 is now enhanced with a Helion Graphical User Interface (GUI). The new GUI makes the engineer’s job even easier. It offers ease-of-use while improving design accuracy, further enhancing the user experience. The enhanced HDR-60 GUI will be available for download next week at no additional charge to current and new customers of the Lattice HDR-60 Video Camera Development Kit.
The new Lattice HDR-60 Video Camera Development Kit features a new GUI developed by Helion. The new GUI makes it even easier for engineers to evaluate and configure the IP. Designers will be able to change the target brightness, speed and algorithm of auto-exposure, choose between manual and automatic auto white balance with red-blue ratio control, change gamma and CCM values on the fly and adjust the position and transparency of overlays.
The Lattice HDR-60 was originally released a year ago. The kit reduces design time for embedded camera applications. The development kit is based upon the LatticeECP3 FPGA family. It is pre-loaded with a plug-and-play evaluation Image Signal Processing (ISP) pipeline based on Intellectual Property (IP) Cores from Helion.
The IP features 1080p performance at 60 frames per second with 2D noise reduction and High Dynamic Range (HDR). It has a form factors that can fit into commercially available camera housings. The kit can support two sensors simultaneously. The Lattice HDR-60 is ideal for the rapid evaluation and prototyping of high-definition HDR video cameras for security and surveillance, traffic control, video conferencing and automotive applications.
