Xilinx Announces Awards and Honors
Today, Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) announced that it has received three honors. First, Xilinx's ISE 9.1i (Integrated Software Environment) design software received Electronic Design Magazine's Best of 2007 award in the category of EDA, FPGA Tools - Integrated Software Environment Technology. Penton Media's annual 'Best Electronic Design' awards are based on editor's choice of the most significant designs, events, and products introduced throughout the year. Xilinx(R) ISE(TM) software was selected based on its industry-leading SmartCompile(TM) technology, which improves run times by up to an additional 6X while maintaining exact design preservation of unchanged logic.
Xilinx also announced that its ISE and MOST(R) NIC LogiCORE(TM) IP Solution have been named 2008 DesignVision Award finalists by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC). Finalists were chosen from a record number of competing products by a panel of judges selected from the 2008 DesignCon technical program committee.
