Programming High Performance Signal Processing Systems

Posted by Ken Cheung in Event on Monday, February 22, 2010

Vinod Kathail, Chief Technology Officer at Synfora, will take part in a panel discussion at the ACM/SIGDA International Symposium on Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA 2010). The panel will discuss the use of high-level languages in the programming of high-performance signal processing systems for FPGAs. The event will take place Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Monterey Beach Resort in Monterey, California.

The panel, “Programming High Performance Signal Processing Systems in High Level Languages,” will begin at 7:00 PM, during the conference dinner, and will also include representatives from Xilinx, AutoESL, BDTI, Stretch, and Rice University. The panelists will discuss high-level programming models and the efficiency of various technologies for programming processor-style architectures, such as DSPs, in FPGAs, including C programming environments and a completely integrated high-level programming environment for a mixed technology.
