Xilinx to Demonstrate at Forum de L'Electronique

Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) will showcase its industry-leading programmable logic solutions at Forum de L'Electronique, Silica stand #2.S.70, September 30 - October 2, 2008 in Paris. Xilinx will conduct live demonstrations on solutions for machine vision and industrial networking applications. Forum de l'Electronique is a components, production, subcontracting, testing and measurement exhibition for all electronic industries. It is held annually along with MesurExpo, an event dedicated to research, testing and industrial instrumentation; and OPTO, the only European exhibition dedicated to all optical solutions.

Xilinx Demonstration

Low Cost Machine Vision FPGA-based Solution
Demonstration of a Spartan(R)-3 FPGA-based GigE Vision IP core, jointly developed by Xilinx and Feith Sensor to Image GmbH. The single-chip solution provides a cost-effective, high performance GigE Vision system. This solution addresses significant challenges that Machine Vision and high performance camera manufacturers face — to offer cost-effective, high-speed, industry-standard compliant GigE Vision transport.
