FPGA Summit

Posted by Ken Cheung in Event on Monday, December 1, 2008

The FPGA Summit will take place on December 9-11 at the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose, California and will feature special sessions that offer hands-on experience in programmable logic devices. The FPGA Summit will focus on the widespread adoption of FPGAs in aerospace, military, defense, communications, wireless, networking, instrumentation, process and industrial control, automotive, and consumer applications. Attendees will learn about FPGA-based design and system development, including how and when to use FPGAs instead of ASICs, custom chips, and processors; new verification methods; high-level design tools; and special design techniques for low-power systems, rugged environments, and cost-critical systems. Attendees will also gain an understanding of new application areas such as DSP, reconfigurable computing, and high-performance computing.
