Xilinx Wins Elektra Award for Virtex-5 LXT

Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) received the 2007 Elektra Award in the Semiconductor Product of the Year category for the Virtex(TM)-5 LXT platform. The 65nm FPGA platform was recognized for its ultra-fast ExpressFabric(TM) technology, proven ASMBL(TM) architecture, low-power triple-oxide technology, PCI Express(R) Endpoint blocks, and low-power serial transceivers. Organized by Electronics Weekly in association with EDN Europe, the Elektra Awards are one of the most prestigious product technology and business awards in Europe, and recognize the achievements of individuals and firms across the European electronics industry. The awards were presented at a ceremony in London last week.
