Nallatech’s accelerator cards are also qualified by leading vendors’ high density server and blade platforms and are ready for deployment with pre-integrated software and IP. The FPGA-based cards are ideal for financial applications such as high frequency trading, derivative pricing, and risk management. The 385 and 395 accelerator cards are available now.
EnSilica introduced the eSi-ZM1 System-on-Module. The small form factor board is built around the Xilinx Zynq Extensible Programming Platform. The eSi-ZM1 enables faster, lower risk development of smarter embedded systems that demand real-time hardware performance. EnSilica’s eSi-Module product roadmap also includes a System-on-Module based on the Altera Cyclone IV SoC.
Trenz Electronic introduced a new series of FPGA and SoC modules. The all-programmable SoMs are based on the latest Xilinx all-programmable devices (Artix, Kintex, and Zynq-7000 FPGA devices). They are available in a uniform 4cm x 5cm form factor. In addition, all modules and boards can be integrated and customized. Reference designs are available free of charge.

The new Nallatech 395 card is aimed at latency-critical and co-processing applications that can utilize the largest FPGA devices and highest memory bandwidth. The 395 FPGA accelerator card is ideal for signals intelligence, network security and algorithm acceleration applications. The company has delivered first prototypes of the 395. Production units will be available next quarter.
Alpha Data introduced the ADM-VPX3-7V2 FPGA card. The 3U OpenVPX module is reconfigurable and based on the Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA. The ADM-VPX3-7V2 enables engineers to quickly design new applications using off-the-shelf hardware and deploy on the same hardware with full ruggedized support. The board ships with a Software Development Kit (SDK), which includes example designs and software drivers. The ADM-VPX3-7V2 board is also available in a cost reduced form without a separate Bridge FPGA for high-volume production orders.
Opal Kelly introduced the XEM6002 integration module. The board is based on the Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA (XC6SLX9-2FTG256C). It has a medium gate-count FPGA and utilizes the high-transfer rate of USB 2.0 for configuration downloads, enabling almost instant reprogramming of the FPGA. The XEM6002 integration module is available now. It is priced at $174.95 each. The unit price drops to $99.95 for quantities of 1,000 pieces.
Innovative Integration introduced the new SBC-K7 embedded PC board. The SBC-K7 combines an Atom or i7 PC running Windows/Linux/VxWorks with a Xilinx Kintex 7 FPGA (from K325T to K410T) and industry-compliant FMC (FPGA mezzanine card) I/O sites. It features a Type-6 COM Express module which provides full PC software and hardware compatibility. The SBC-K7 embedded PC board is ideal for embedded instrumentation.
ACCELIZE launched their XP7V690LP-40G low-profile FPGA computing card. The ACCELIZE XP7V690LP-40G features quad-10Gb Ethernet (40GbE) and PCI Express 3.0 with Gen3 speed. The XpressV7-LP is PLDA’s latest FPGA design kit. The XpressV7-LP features a FPGA-based low-profile PCI Express form factor card with 40Gb of Ethernet connectivity and 8 GBytes of DDR3 SDRAM. The FPGA kit is delivered with PLDA’s PCIe 3.0 IP and optional 10G UDP/TCP stack IP, specifically optimized for the Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA. The PLDA XpressV7-LP FPGA Design Kit will ship in October.
