Altera Second Quarter 2007 Results
Altera (NASDAQ: ALTR) reported second quarter 2007 sales of $319.7 million, up 5% from the first quarter of 2007 and down 4% from the second quarter of 2006. Second quarter 2007 net income was $80.5 million, $0.22 per diluted share, compared with net income of $77.3 million, $0.21 per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2006. Altera’s board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share payable.
Shares of Altera rose 47 cents, or 1.89%, in recent after-hours trading to $25.39.
