Mentor Graphics Precision Synthesis family now supports Altera’s 40nm Stratix IV GT and Arria II GX field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Precision Synthesis support for Stratix IV GT and Arria II GX FPGAs enables designers to leverage Altera’s latest transceiver technology and quickly achieve design closure. Stratix IV GT and Arria II GX FPGAs feature integrated high-speed transceivers are ideal for communications systems, high-end test equipment, and military communications equipment. Mentor’s Precision Synthesis support for these devices is available to customers now.
