Alpha Data introduced their ADM-XRC-7Z1 XMC Mezzanine card. The ADM-XRC-7Z1 features the Xilinx Zynq System-on-Chip (SoC). The ADM-XRC-7Z1 ships with a Software Development Kit (SDK), which includes example designs and software drivers. The board is available in industrial grade and air or conduction cooled variants. The ADM-XRC-7Z1 XMC Mezzanine card suitable for initial development through to deployment in rugged environments.

The ADM-XRC-7Z1 XMC Mezzanine card supports the largest devices in the Zynq family. The board includes dedicated USB, Serial and Ethernet interfaces for the Processing System. The Programmable Logic is served with on-board memory and flexible IO to the front and rear. The front I/O supports the large range of Alpha Data XRM adapters for applications including:

  • Software-Defined Radio (SDR)
  • Radar and Sonar Processing
  • Image Processing
  • Machine Vision

The Xilinx Zynq’s dual ARM Cortex-A9 processors, tightly coupled to over 6M logic gates with high-speed IO, reduces size, weight and power that. With the ADM-XRC-7Z1, designers can now integrate their I/O, DSP and host processing in a single mezzanine card.
