Posted by Ken Cheung in Event on Tuesday, November 4, 2008

At Electronica 2008, Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL) will demonstrate miniature motor control and human machine interface functionality using its cell-phone-sized Actel Icicle Kit, which leverages the company's ultra-low power IGLOO FPGAs.

Visitors to the booth (A4.375) will also see the company's mixed-signal Fusion FPGAs operating in a MicroTCA chassis. Also demonstrated will be the FPGA-optimized ARM Cortex-M1 processor running on Fusion to show current, temperature and voltage monitoring and other intelligent system and power management functionalities in a single chip.
