4i2i’s 4media Media Processing Platform for the broadcast industry integrates 4i2i’s IP portfolio onto a highly flexible hardware platform capable of supporting a wide range of applications from multi channel SD MPEG2 to H.264 Transcoding to single channel H.264 Main Profile Encoding. 4media combines the extensive processing power and flexibility of Xilinx Virtex 5 LX330T FPGA’s with 4i2i’s industry-leading audio/video codec technology. The 4media family of board level solutions were launched at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show.
